As a society we have become accustomed to thinking good food is unhealthy food. This is not true – the best food is the food that is good for you. If you don’t think so it’s probably because your taste buds have been corrupted by years of eating too much salt, oil and sugar. I have created Grains, Greens & Gravy partly to get you thinking that food can not only taste great but it can also be a life source, providing the macro and micro nutrients your body needs to function at your optimum. Here you’ll find tons of recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For starters, mains and dessert. As well as tonnes of ideas for healthy snacks.
I'm also passionate about teaching people about food – food is more than fuel. It is a life force. It builds muscle, it influences your sleep, it optimizes your brain function, it can put you in a good mood or it can put you in a bad mood. What you eat determines to a large degree how successful your life will be and how happy you are. Do yourself a favour and eat well, eat Real Food.

Life is a wonderful experience. We have each been given a unique adventure and it is up to us all to make the most of it. To live life to the fullest takes effort and time – you need to exercise, eat well, spend time in nature, sleep well, socialize, give back, plus much more, but it’s all part of the fun of life. The other reason I started Grains, Greens & Gravy was to give advice on how to live life to the full.
